　歐美音樂雜誌評選出來的經典名單，雖然有英雄所見略同的共識，和亞洲樂迷的口味畢竟有文化隔閡。國內西洋音樂市場的資深工作者吳正忠先生，參考眾多西方樂評，選出了東方觀點的百張經典。雖然和歐美的名單有不少重複，但一些備受冷落的重量級藝人終於被圈選入列，如皇后合唱團、深紫色合唱團等，使得這份名單起碼比較貼近國內樂迷的期望。
